Ownership transition eTranzact International Plc announced that a shareholding transaction has altered its majority ownership structure. Access Bank Plc, Meristem Trustees Limited (acting as trustee for Accelerex Holdings), and eTranzact Global Limited transferred a total of 5,168,921,170 ordinary shares, representing 56.18 % of the company’s issued ordinary shares, to Trademarks Global Concepts Limited. The transaction was reported to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public on 13 October 2026, marking a significant shift in the company’s ownership profile.

Board resignations Following the completion of the transaction, directors linked to the exiting shareholders stepped down from the board. Two Independent Non‑Executive Directors also resigned. The company stated that the departures were part of the transition process and were voluntary, allowing the board to realign its composition with the new ownership structure.

New appointments The board now includes nominees from Trademarks Global Concepts Limited and two additional Independent Non‑Executive Directors. According to the company’s notification, the new appointees bring expertise in corporate leadership, banking, development finance, governance, legal advisory, infrastructure, energy and investment management. The addition of these directors is intended to strengthen the board’s strategic oversight and support the company’s growth objectives in the post‑transaction phase.

Board statement In a statement, the board thanked the outgoing directors for their service and contributions during their tenure. The company highlighted that the new directors will add fresh perspectives and help drive growth and development in the post‑transaction phase.
